"Bal d'Onsella" shows a landscape with a strong identity, rich in subtleties and nuances

The book Bal d'Onsella. The colors of silence , Jordi Longás be presented on Friday October 1 at 19:30 pm in the Centro Aragonés de Barcelona .
Present the book writer Joseph Arbués Posat.

The Bal d'Onsella is a solitary, barely known, discreet ... and beautiful. And in the valley, at the dawn of the four seasons, all elements combine to shape a landscape wonderfully sober. Land, water, sky ... play and confused, a thousand colors show, created unusual forms and whimsical, to give us a place with a strong identity. Without fanfare, halfway between the Monegros and greenery of the Pyrenees, at the Bal d'Onsella combine the characteristics of upland with Frescal of the mountain. Perhaps because of this, because it is rich in subtleties and nuances, its landscape is not given easily. Required to be, walk, eyes open, to resist the cold and heat. Well we can say that understand and appreciate it is hard work and patience. But if you persevere you can capture something of its ancient essence and discover the dynamism that lies in the passing of the year. Jordi

The photographs, taken at different times and different years, show the richness and uniqueness of the valley, to the joy of those who know and have walked and to the surprise of the curious traveler. Also for the consciousness of beauty encouraging the spirit to be concerned about preserving this gem of the Aragonese heritage. With this book is to contribute to the necessary organization of memory, useful to see-Nidera generations, and also to develop self-esteem of those who loved and fought for this land.
